Thanks, Riku. Let me know how it goes when you do.
[ The price part might have Sora a little biased. Just a little. Considering the price he himself had to pay in order to save Kairi. And the price he's willing to pay for Riku. Stepping away as he folds his hands on the back of his head. ]
I know it might be something like that. I still want to believe. Besides, if it turns out to be selfish then maybe there's a chance she'll change her mind?
[ I mean... he some how forgave Xehanort after kicking his butt??? ]
Riku wants to see for himself what type of person Yuuko is... or whoever it really is (he is not forgetting Watanuki's words so soon, after all.) So he will leave the instant believing to Sora while he is skeptical. That in of itself works out a balance in a way. ]
Funnily enough, I can't even say that something like that's impossible. I'm not getting my hopes up, but there's no reason to think to count it out.
[ Whether or not Riku is forgiving is another matter, depending on the circumstances. ]
We can. [ ... ] Looks like things haven't really changed, have they?
[ Riku can't help but follow, just so he can seat himself on his bed. Look, they're close already. ]
We're still working together to make things right.
[ The light-haired male wished the circumstances were different...but that familiarity? It was grounding, just like how being around Sora was whenever he smiled one of his dazzling, bright smiles that made him feel light on his feet in a way he could never articulate. ]
[ Haven't really changed... huh? He's not sure why, but he feels both glad and a little sad at that. There's a flicker of uncertainty there for a moment before he gives the usual smile. ]
Yeah, that's right! And there's no one else I would rather have at my side for this.
[ He feels the same about that. He would rather they go on an adventure without the death and killing. Leaning sideways to bump Riku's shoulder. ]
